What Is Project ‘Talking Pots’?
The team of Enactus St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata is a synergetic part of this devout fraternity that capitalizes on social entrepreneurship as instrumental in invigorating the potential prowess across the forsaken segments of our society.
At present, this enthusiastic group of young and dedicated students is primarily involved in two undertakings – Project Shuddhi and Project Kalakriti (Talking Pots).
Project Kalakriti (Talking Pots) was the first brainchild of Enactus St. Xavier’s.
Say goodbye to the old and boring brown pots. Because this project involves making hand made pots with beautiful design inspirations and color combinations, that looks good on your rooftops and even inside your house.
Not only do these pots looks beautiful, the process is actually bringing a change in lives of many people.
The beneficiaries employed under the project include three former drug addicts who have found a permanent source of livelihood through this noble venture.
Talking Pots believes in venerating efforts, regardless of their magnitude. Having sold more than 3500 pots, Project Kalakriti continues its journey of not only bringing about a buoyant change but also bringing forward a variety of ethereal pots.
It endeavors to spread optimism, grace, dexterity and some thousand stories of perseverance in the disguise of intricately designed pots.
With a successful journey so far and an even better one ahead, Enactus St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata shows that one can bring the change that one desires to see in the world by empowering and enriching not just us but also every individual around us.
Together, we can recognize possibilities, take action and enable progress.
